Representational Art - Art that has an easily recognizable figure or theme to it, normally depicting an event that has occurred in the real world.
Realism - An art form that has the artist create an accurate straightforward depiction of reality.
Impressionism - An art form that allows artists to show off their creative side, warping an event to make it seem more impressionable.
Idealism - The displaying of thoughts through an art piece.
Stylization - Art that represents something in an unnatural way.

Part B: Alexa Meade - Your Body is My Canvas
By watching Alexa Meade's way of art-making, I've come to realize that my way of perceiving art is not uncommon or wrong. It confirmed to me that just like in a conversation over a specific topic, everyone has their own opinion of what something is meant to represent. What a picture could mean to one person could mean something completely different to another. By going past that first immediate glance at what lies before you, you're able to dig deeper and find a more satisfactory meaning as to what the art piece represents.
